While as grown ups we tend to work through our concerns with words, children often turn to play to express their needs and internal struggles. As a play-based practitioner, I am trained to use games, toys, and art to engage children in exploring their world views, and find relief through play metaphors.
Play Therapies are sometimes challenging for us grown ups to completely understand, however, they are supported by robust research. If you are interested in learning more about Play Therapy, please reach out!
